While the club instructors may be postponing their own gradings, we thought it was only fair to run a mid-year grading for others in the club that have reached a high level of competence with their respective grade syllabus.
This will be a 'video-grading' format, where your grading is filmed and sent to master Callum Forbes in Upper Hutt (kind of like our 'third umpire' :)
There are currently a large group of whitebelts, many of whom will be eligible for grading. There is also the chance for some members to go for their blue or red-tip grades. Please talk to Aaron or James about the grading requirements, and we will ensure that enough class time is spent going over your core syllabus. As always, we will not put you forward for grading unless we feel you're likely to acheive a high standard.
Gradings provide an excellent focus, require self-discipline and focus, and allow you to move forward to a higher level of techniques.
