Training dates for 2019

Tue Jan. 1st 2019 / Club news

We hope you've all had a great Christmas and New Year. Most of us tend to drink and eat more than we should, and exercise much less than we intend. So when our classes kick off this year we'll be looking to blow out a few cobwebs and shed some of that holiday weight!

The first adults class for the year is on Monday, the 7th of January. Regular Monday & Wednesday classes will continue as usual from then onwards.

Stopped training and want to start again?

Maybe work, or study, an injury - or even just laziness - got in the way the last time you were training with us. Do not feel bad. Instead, why not come back to training this year. If you're a past student and you're hoping to sneak back into the class as though you'd never left - good news! We'll pay for your first three months back.

That's how much we miss you.

Send us an email (kingslandmartialarts@gmail.com), call, or even swing by training to let us know.

Club growth in 2019

Last year our kids class grew to a whopping 45 students. With around 15 - 20 adult students, that put our numbers over 60, an all time high.

But the adult numbers dropped away in November & December as all of those end-of-year distractions kicked in. Our goal this year is to grow a strong group of senior students and blackbelts that can pass on their knowledge and ensure the continuity, quality, and intensity of our Hapkido remains strong. We may have done well at the Oceania Cup in 2018 - but you can be sure the other clubs will be keen to knock us off our throne. So - encourage friends, family and acquaintances to join us to build a strong team of adult students.
