Fun and practical self-defence

Kingsland Martial Arts teaches practical self-defence in a safe and enjoyable atmosphere. Our style is called Hapkido. Hapkido is self defence. It is a Martial Art where you learn how to defend yourself in almost limitless ways.

Come and train with us and learn how to protect yourself and others against a variety of common attacks. Your experienced instructors will teach you a wide variety of techniques including hand strikes, kicking techniques, joint locks, common throws and ground fighting.

Hapkido is easy to learn. It is about skill, not brute strength, and is perfect for women and men alike. We know that if you are new to martial arts, they can seem a bit daunting. The best advice we can give you is to simply come along and see for yourself.

Train with a friend

If you know someone that is thinking of taking up a martial art for self defence, then please tell them about us or better yet, bring them along with you. New members are always welcome, and training with people you know is always enjoyable.
