* The Bottom Line: A well-rounded striking system .
3. Kung Fu
* Style: Traditional Mixed System
* Main Strengths: A broad system blending strikes, forms, and weapons. Strong for overall athleticism, coordination, and traditional philosophy.
* The Bottom Line: Diverse systems combining strikes, forms, and weapons for full-body conditioning.
4. Jujitsu
* Style: Close-range Grappling
* Main Strengths: Emphasises throws, joint locks, and pins. Strong for self-defence in the clinch, using an attacker’s own force and momentum against them.
* The Bottom Line: Traditional grappling focused on neutralising an attacker at close range.
5. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ)
* Style: Ground Fighting
* Main Strengths: Primarily excels at ground control and submissions.
* The Bottom Line: "Physical chess" that uses leverage to let a smaller person control a larger one.
6. Aikido
* Style: Defensive Redirection
* Main Strengths: Emphasises timing, redirection, and joint locks with minimal force. Strong for learning balance, movement, and de-escalation.
* The Bottom Line: A circular, non-competitive art using redirection to restrain rather than strike.
7. Hapkido is a blend of all of the above, we are a holistic style and while we can't claim to be as technically proficient in every sub discipline, the well rounded nature of our style means we can deal with many more self defence circumstances
