WKF Korea trip 2026

Four of our team went to Korea for the 14th World Kido Federation trip.  This multi day event allowed us to Train with the Grand Masters Scott and Steve Seo, compete at the highest level in Busan and build strong and lasting relationships with other Hapkido clubs from around Korean and the world.

The team achieved some great results.  Clinton Andrews won gold in the long breakfalls and got a hard for Gold in sparing.  Lucas Quickenden got Gold for his Kihap Hyung, Gold for his self defence routine, Silver in his sparing and Bronze for his long break falls. Lucas was also awarded a scholarship to help him develop his Hapkido for life.

We were also honoured to be at the formal dinner and witness Master Callum's promotion to 8th Dan, while Aaron, Paul and Cllinton had their respective Dan grades recognised also.  

Plannng for 2028 is already underway and I can't recommend it enough, so please consider attending.
