Striking
- Board breaking: use a spinning heel kick to break a wooden board
- Exhibit competency in
Ground Skills
- Escape from choke in guard ('anti rape' techniques) x 2
- Escape from choke, opponent at head
- Basic freestyle grappling for 3 minutes
Throws
- Judo-style sparring exercise - semi compliant partner - demonstrate all throws, sweeps / reaps
Weapons
- Stick fight, 2 minutes of choreographed techniques from previous grades, with partner
- Show 18-step WKF Dan Bong drill
Movement
- Self-defence flow drill: multiple transitions between locks and holds
Core Self Defence
- Counter Hip Throw: block hip, and drag backwards
- Double Throw
- Counter Throw from Standing Choke
- Walking side by side throw
- Ankle throw: catch kick with cross block, throw and trap leg.
Extension Self Defence
- Ankle Throw: as above but against a side kick.
- Kick defence: catch round kick, sweep supporting leg
- Kick defence: catch spinning hook kick, reap supporting leg
- Swan lock to Stomach throw
